Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Minister: I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord!" Our feet have ben standing within your gates, O Jerusalem!
People: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Minister: O Lord, I love the habitation of your house, and the place where your glory dwells.
People: But the Lord is in his holy temple, let all the earth keep silence before him.
Minister: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
People: O sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! I will sing of loyalty and of justice; to you, O Lord, I will sing.
Almighty God, Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of All Things, Judge of All Men, We Acknowledge and Bewail Our Manifold Sins and Wickedness Which We from Time to Time Most Grievously Have Committed by Thought, Word, And Deed Against Your Divine Majesty, Provoking Most Justly Your Wrath and Indignation Against Us. We Do Earnestly Repent and Are Heartily Sorry for These Our Misdoings; The Remembrance of Them Is Grievous unto Us.
Have Mercy Upon Us, Have Mercy Upon Us, Most Merciful Father for Your Son Our Lord Jesus Christ's Sake; Forgive Us All That Is Past, And Grant That We May Ever Hereafter Serve and Please You in Newness of Life, To the Honor and Glory of Thy Name, Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
The Prayer of Consecration - Rev. J.B. Cooper, II
There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins; And sinners plunged
beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty
stains; And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day; And there may I, though vile as he,
wash all my sins away. Wash all my sins away, wash all my sins away; And there may I,
though vile as he, wash all my sins away.
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its power Till all the ransomed church
of God be saved, to sin no more. Be saved, to sin no more, be saved, to sin no more; Till all
the ransomed church of God be saved, to sin no more.
E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been
my theme, and shall be till I die. And shall be till I die, and shall be till I die;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy power to save, When this poor lisping,
stammering tongue lies silent in the grave. Lies silent in the grave, lies silent in the grave;
When this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.
